Iznik is a collection of scarfs whose intricate pattern is inspired by the homonymous 16th-17th century ceramic plate from the Benaki Museum of Islamic Art collection in Athens, Greece. Both abstract and descriptive the pattern is a free interpretation of the motifs found on the plate. Different elements have been selected and either reproduced loosely or further enriched to create a refined pattern with great detail and depth.
